ALL GREAT YACHT OPS START WITH A STRATEGIC SHIFT.

Every smart system starts with a simple question: How could this be better? The Purser Desk was built for those who are done tolerating chaos, outdated spreadsheets, or inboxes that run the show.

We don’t add noise. We don’t pad hours. And we definitely don’t create more admin for the sake of it. What we offer is structure with substance — the kind that makes captains breathe easier, crew feel supported, and operations actually operate.

You didn’t come here to be average. Neither did we.

I KNOW THAT THIS SECTION BELOW LOOKS BLANK, BUT iT ACTUALLY HAS THE COOL TEXT OVERLAY FOR THE CANVAS ABOVE. TO EDIT IT, JUST CLICK THE TEXT, TURN IT BLACK FOR NOW, EDIT IT, THEN TURN IT BACK to WHITE OR LEAVE IT BLACK AND CHOOSE A LIGHTER IMAGE WHERE THAT LADY IS BECAUSE THAT LOOKS REALLY COOl, TOO,. :)

In an industry that runs on tradition, choosing to work differently isn’t radical.
it’s necessary.

Yachting has long been built on hierarchy, habit, and a ‘this is how it’s done’ mindset. But times have changed, and expectations with them. The way we work should reflect the level we work at.

The Purser Desk exists to support that shift. to give modern operations the systems, structure, and clarity they deserve. with calm confidence behind every detail.

It’s worth saying clearly —The Purser Desk wasn’t dreamed up on a napkin — it was built off the back of actual experience: real trips, real pressure, and real operations where no one’s got time to explain things twice.

The Purser Desk is here to bridge that gap; not just with skills, but with someone who gets it. Someone who’s done the job, understands the pace, and knows what proper support actually looks like.

We’ve worked under demanding owners, across complex itineraries, and in moments where things had to be right, because the next move, the next flight, the next charter depended on it. We’ve done the long hours, the crew HR headaches, the last-minute port changes, and the full purser remit more times than we can count.

After years in the role, one thing became clear: not every yacht has the capacity for a full-time purser. But that doesn’t mean the workload disappears. The paperwork still stacks up. The logistics still shift. And the pressure to keep things seamless never lets up.

This isn’t about reinventing operations. It’s about experienced help, delivered with precision, when and where it’s needed.

You don’t need another service promising the world without understanding the work.

All you need to do is decide.
Are you in?

No. o1

Our Approach

Discreet, deliberate, and detail-led. We bring order without overcomplicating, and structure without showiness. Every move we make is grounded in real onboard experience, delivered cleanly, calmly, and always with a strategic edge.

No. o2

Our Method

We start with what matters: how your yacht actually runs. Then we refine, support, and streamline the moving parts behind the scenes, from logistics to communication, so your team can operate clearly, confidently, and without the clutter.

No. o3

Our People

We work with captains, HODs, management teams, agents, and senior crew who expect high standards and aren’t interested in micromanaging the back end to get them. They value discretion, autonomy, and quiet competence. So do we.

BEHIND
the DESK

I’m Letty Le Moignan. Purser Desk Founder. Purser-turned-shoreline anti-hero.

Before launching The Purser Desk, I helped shape superyacht operations from the inside—through the ranks and ultimately to Purser onboard— a dedicated contributor to seamless itineraries, operational precision, and calm crew confidence. Now I've taken that hands-on expertise ashore, translating sea-tested solutions into streamlined shoreside support.

But somewhere between the midnight itineraries and perfectly colour-coded preference sheets, I noticed the same thing again and again: operations that looked polished, but weren’t running at their full potential. Yachts relying on habit when they deserved intention.

So I did what every good purser eventually must... I rewrote the itinerary.

With one foot in hands-on crew life and the other in precision-driven shoreside support, I founded The Purser Desk to bring back clarity, control, and calm to high-pressure yacht ops.  Why? Because running yachts should feel smooth, intuitive, and quietly powerful.

Our signature approach?

Spot the gaps in the program, then solve them with strategy and experience. This role isn’t about reacting, it’s about anticipating. The Purser Desk will step in quietly, pay attention and provide you with support where needed.

QUESTIONNARE

Still here? Perfect. If we're going to work together, we gotta go a little deeper. Consider this the less formal part of the interview. Crew drinks, if you will.

What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
A sunlit terrace, a fully-charged laptop, three un-listened favourite Podcasts and a lifetime ban on the words “Can we hop on a quick call?”

What’s your greatest extravagance?
The luxury of not rushing. Even when everything’s urgent.

On what occasion do you lie?
When I say “just one more email.”

Which historical figure do you most take your
hat off to? Whoever invented delegation.
Queen behaviour.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Selflessness. You can’t pour the champagne if your own glass is empty.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d stop pretending I don’t need systems when, in fact, I absolutely, desperately need systems.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being brave enough to build something out of my comfort zone, yet in my comfort zone.

What is your most marked characteristic?
Rebel heart. Purser head. Weird positivity and a smile that says "I've got it" even when sh*t hits the fan.

What do you most value in your team?
Clear comms, quick wit, spontaneous voice notes, good banter and the willingness to call me on my BS.

How do you take your martini?
Straight up. Strong. And nowhere near a preference sheet - unless it's mine.

WORKINGwith THE PURSER DESK WAS a NO-BRAINER DECISION.
